At around 20 years old, I started noticing 2/3 dark hairs on my chin; I don't mean thin ones because I have those, and it doesn't bother me. Instead, I'm referring to those hairs that seek our undivided attention, "the superstars of the face" or, as I now call them, the EVIL GUYS.
I felt it was the first thing people saw when they looked at m,e which made me very self-conscious. I never hesitated to pluck them, but surprise, they kept growing back and bringing minions (other hairs). So eventually, I got fed up and booked a laser consultation to say, "Sayanora Suckas!"
I couldn't wait to get started! I had around 350 dollars in hand because I wasn't sure of the price, but I believe that would have covered at least 2 or 3 sessions! Haha. To make a long story short, the laser technician I saw that day said I was not an ideal candidate for laser hair removal. The hairs were too sporadic; basically, I didn't have a beard-like pattern. I should've been happy about it, but I still needed to get rid of those hairs! She recommended that I researched ELECTROLYSIS, and the rest was HISTORY.
I got those evil guys blasted and ventured onto other areas of unwanted hair but put that on pause in 2020 when I decided to help other people on their hair-free journey; I enrolled in school to become a certified electrologist.
Fast forward to 2022, I currently work on myself periodically or have a colleague in the field give me a touch-up when I have time, but my main focus is YOU, helping you defeat your "EVIL GUYS."
QUICK NOTE:
It is challenging to find an electrologist in any city; still, I couldn't locate anyone in Brooklyn (where I currently reside) that I felt comfortable going to when I was on my search for an electrologist. So, after I graduated from school, I was employed as an electrologist in Manhattan, where I had received treatments previously.
