Happy 2025 y'all! There's no time like the present to reintroduce the Founder of Reveal BK, Certified Professional Electrologist, De'Neille Watson.
Deneille, or Danny, was raised in Kingston, Jamaica, before coming to New York City in her early teens. She remembers being interested in makeup and the beauty industry as a young girl, but initially went into finance. Her time as a banker for a major global bank gave her the skills and confidence to open her own business, beginning with a side hustle as a makeup artist. After her personal experience receiving electrolysis treatments, Danny was inspired to open Reveal BK to help others bring forth their own confidence and best self.
What were you doing before Reveal BK?
"I was an Associate Banker for Chase and was working on getting my MUA business off the ground. My early interest revolved around makeup, but I always gravitated toward beauty-related services, I guess".
Why did you choose electrolysis for your own hair removal needs?
"I chose it because it was my only option. I went to get laser hair removal done on my chin but was told I wasn't a candidate. The hair on my chin was too sporadic for laser hair removal.
What do you wish you had known before receiving treatment yourself?
"Numbing cream is an option haha".
Best skincare tips for treatment areas?
Pre-care:
Avoid caffeine (if possible)
Exfoliate
Come without makeup (if possible)
After-care:
Keep the area clean, away from harsh products: oils, butters, serums.
DO NOT POP any whiteheads that may happen; let them go away on their own or use an antibiotic cream or witch hazel. This can treat and prevent whiteheads that tend to appear after electrolysis.
Favorite between session snack?
"I don't know if this would technically be considered a snack, but a dirty chai with oat milk. I don't snack much, if at all."

"Well, I curated the playlist not only for clients but for me as well to listen to while I'm working. So I'll say everything in the Reveal BK Playlist."
Is there anything clients should expect going into 2025 for Reveal BK?
"Clients can expect a continuation of small improvements that make their electrolysis sessions feel like the ultimate self-care!"
